It’s also been intense, as the deadlines associated with the project have been pretty tight. We’re really happy with the way everything turned out. A number of other bands have contributed music to the soundtrack as well, creating a great mix of music for the film.
The film is premiering at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, in California on January 29th at 1pm. More info on ticketing and showtimes is available on the Santa Barbara International Film Festival’s website. So if you’re in the area, feel free to come check it out and say hi. If you’re not in the area and would like to still check it out, stay tuned the the Film’s blog, for upcoming premiers in other cities.
Also, plans for a soundtrack release are in the works as well. We’ll keep you posted as we get more info on a release date.

“The first in a five part film series spanning the entire globe. WAY OF THE OCEAN is a definitive portrait of Australia’s deep rooted connection to the sea and all its energy. The largest island on earth provides a breathtaking backdrop to some of the worlds best waves in this groundbreaking documentary. From the tropical waters surrounding the great barrier reef, through the frigid rawness of the southern ocean and up to the remote desert of Northwestern Australia, WAY OF THE OCEAN is sure to captivate your senses.”
